An update of the 205TS, the Mil-tek 2205 is fully compliant with EN16500 safety standards.
The 2205 baler has a small physical footprint of around .29m² and features a long vertical pressing chamber. The means that the 2205 baler can create a bale almost twice the size of a model 2102 while covering a similarly small floor space.
The safety and the operational features makes the EN16500-compliant machines not only our safest ever machines, but also our fastest: the 2205 has a full pressing cycle of around 7 seconds.
Like all of the EN16500-compliant machines, the Mil-tek 2205 baler is powered exclusively by compressed air. This means that the pneumatic baler uses dramatically less power than a hydraulic baler.
Running on just 8 bars of pressure, the 2205 baler boasts patented ECO-Drive technology that balances the amount of pressure required by the with each stroke, and applying constant compacting pressure without increasing power usage.
Agro Korn produce animal feed. They use a Mil-tek 205 in their production to compact paper sacks, plastic sacks, and big grain bags. The 205 is ideal to handle the volume, without taking up much room onsite.
Mitre 10 are a hardware supplies chain based in New Zealand. As their business grew, so too did the problem of waste, and the need to recycle. A combination of Mil-tek machines allows them to compact large volumes in small vertical balers.
Puratos supply ingredients for the catering industry. They use a Mil-tek 205 allowing them to hygienically compact paper bags in the working area as they are used, saving them time and money and improving efficiency.
Although it's fairly straightforward, leave that to us.
A Mil-tek technician connect your new 2205 baler to a compressed air supply. You can start baling straight away.
Fill the chamber with cardboard or plastic and close the door. The door handle acts as a safety, only activating once it is securely full. Keep an eye on the bale-out indicator so you can tell when the baler is full.
Ask someone who knows. Mil-tek consultant will perform a detailed analysis of your waste management set up, as well as examining your waste handling processes. The key is to identify areas of waste: time, space and money wasted on waste.
Based on this analysis, the consultant will determine the most suitable machine for you.
A Mil-tek certified technician will guide you through this process. We will look at all aspects of waste creation and waste disposal to determine the most efficient location.
Yes it is. Over the last number of years Mil-tek have been a part of a Health and Safety Executive committee that has been committed to creating new improved standards for the safe use of vertical balers. As a result we have made a significant number of improvements to the model 2205 in order to comply with EN16500 standards and to ensure safe use for the end-user. As they are air-powered (pneumatic) rather than hydraulic, Mil-tek balers are extremely quiet. The 2205 has a noise level less than 70 db(A).
If you have an existing air-line you simply plug the machine and then your existing compressor acts as the engine. If you need to have a compressor installed, a Mil-tek technician will ensure that the compressor is placed at a distance from the machine and then install an air-hose between the compressor and the 2205 baler.
The flexibility of the Miltek 2205 baler means it can also be used to recycle smaller volumes of cardboard in small/medium supermarkets, convenience stores and general retail outlets.
The deep vertical chamber makes it an ideal baler for baling plastic packaging used for clothing and consumable goods. The small footprint means it can fit comfortably into most storage and waste areas.
A high volume of packaging material ensures a steady flow of waste in hotels and restaurants. The small footprint of the 2205 baler means that it can fit neatly indoors, allowing it to be installed in stock rooms or waste collection rooms.
The result is fewer collections, less time spent transporting waste, less space designated to waste and an overall reduction in waste costs.
The small footprint of the 2205 baler means that it can be located indoors, close to where waste is created. The fact that the machine is air-powered means that it can also be installed in a food production area as it poses no risk of hazardous oil spillage.
The small door opening is ideal for plastic packaging as well as small boxes such as wine, spirit and food boxes.
