The Mil-tek 306 is a medium to large sized baler that can fit into most locations. The deep pressing chamber and the wide door opening makes the Mil-tek 306 an ideal solution for companies and organisations with medium-to-large amounts of waste but with a limited amount of floor space.
The 306 baler is ideal for loading whole cardboard boxes, eliminating the need for flat packing and regular trips to outside bins/skips. The cardboard bales from the baler fit perfectly on to a standard pallet, making them easy to store and transport.
Miltek machines are designed so that almost anyone can operate them: You simply put in your material, close the door, pull the handle and let the machine do the real work. Mil-tek machines have an extremely fast pressing cycle of between 10-20 seconds.
The Mil-tek 306 is powered by compressed air, either directly from an existing air-line or from a compressor supplied by Mil-tek. This means that the Mil-tek 306 is free of both electrical and hydraulic components, minimizing the risk of fire and completely eliminating the risk of oil contamination.
An automated bale-out function makes it fast, safe and easy to empty the baler.
Danisco is one of the world's leading producers of food ingredients and bio-based solutions. They use Mil-tek balers to optimise their waste handling process.
Intersport is an international sporting goods retailer. They placed their Mil-tek 306 in the warehouse where all stock is delivered and unpacked.
BT are a global supplier of handling equipment, and part of the Toyota Material Handling family. The use 8 Mil-tek 306 machines for their flexibility and reliability.
A Mil-tek technician will guide you through installation, which is done by simply connecting your 306 Baler to a compressed air supply. You are now ready to start minimizing your waste.
Fill the chamber with cardboard or plastic and close the door. Once the handle is pressed down, the machine is activated and the minimizing has begun. Repeat until the baler is full.
The 306 and 306HD are similar in size and carbon footprint, but the 306HD has more powerful cylinders that handle higher volumes of waste and produce denser bales. What you need to know is the approximate amount of e.g. cardboard you generate every day, in what stream and in what sizes it comes. This basic information combined with your business set-up forms the basis for evaluating which model machine is best suited for your requirements.
Your internal working processes and the data available on your waste streams will provide you with that answer. Together with Mil-tek, we will ensure you find the optimal spot in your workplace.
The machine can stand either indoors or out - most important is that you place the machine so that you sort your waste at source. If you place the machine outside it must be under a roof. Be aware that cold weather conditions can influence the performance of the machine. Your Mil-tek consultant will help analysing the best place to install the machine.
As they are air-powered (pneumatic) rather than hydraulic, Mil-tek balers are extremely quiet. If you have an existing air-line you simply plug the machine and then your existing compressor acts as the engine. If you need to have a compressor installed, a Mil-tek technician will ensure that the compressor is placed at a distance from the machine and then install an air-hose between the compressor and the machine.
Ideal for baling plastic packaging typically used in the transportation and protection of clothing and consumable items. Constant pressure ensures an extremely dense bale is produced that is both easy to handle and easy to recycle. The baler can also be used to recycle smaller volumes of cardboard in small/medium supermarkets, convenience stores and general retail outlets.
The wide door and deep chamber of the Mil-tek 306 baler means large volumes of cardboard can be baled without the need for breaking down or flat packing. Plastic packaging stored in Mil-tek plastic bag stands can be placed directly into the baler saving time and therefore cost when dealing with packaging waste.
The modern waste technique of segregating and baling packaging waste using strategically placed recycling points has resulted in a significant increase in productivity across a range of organisations. A Mil-tek 306 baler accompanied by a small plastic baler (such as a model 102 or 205 baler), and strategically placed plastic bag stand can vastly improve logistics where a steady stream of packaging waste is created in multiple areas.
