Product Overview

The Mil-tek 2305 is a medium sized baler, suitable for baling cardboard, plastic and other materials. Despite taking up a floor space footprint of just 81 cm², the 2305 can create bales of up to 180kg (plastic) and 100kg (cardboard).

The small size contributes to the machines flexibility, allowing baling and recycling to take place at the source of waste creation. By installing a 2305 baler close to the source of waste, businesses can optimize the waste process and reduce time, space and money spent transporting and storing waste.

Powered by compressed air, the 2305 has a pressing cycle of just 7-13 seconds, and patented ECO-Drive technology adjusts the amount of energy used in each cycle to minimize the amount of energy used. The ECO-Drive pneumatic technology further allows the baler to apply constant pressure in compaction without using constant power. Reducing the power usage also results in denser, heavier bales of waste.

Fully compliant with EN16500 standards, the 2305 features a cycle counter to track usage and a bale-out indicator.

Once the baler is full and ready to bale-out, a two-handed bale-out function will safely and automatically empty the bale. Bales of waste plastic and cardboard from a 2305 can be transported and stored on a standard European pallet.

How it works

Install

Install

A Mil-tek technician will guide you through installation, which is done by simply connecting your 2305 Baler to a compressed air supply. You are now ready to start minimizing your waste.

Minimize

Q&A

  • How do I decide which model machine I need?

A Mil-tek consultant will guide you in making this decision. What you need to know is the approximate amount of e.g. cardboard you generate every day, in what stream and in what sizes it comes. In addition to this you should know how much space you have available for a machine. This basic information combined with your business set-up forms the basis for evaluating which model machine you need.

  • Where should I install my machine?

Your internal working processes and the data available on your waste streams will provide you with that answer. Together with Mil-tek, we will ensure you find the optimal spot in your workplace.

  • Is the 2305 Baler compliant with EN16500 safety standards?

Yes it is. Over the past number of years Mil-tek have been a part of a Health and Safety Executive committee that has been committed to creating new improved standards for the safe use of vertical balers. As a result we have made a significant number of improvements to the model 2305 in order to comply with EN16500 standards and to ensure safe use for the end-user. For more information please visit www.mil-tek.com/EN16500

  • How much noise does the machine make?

As they are air-powered (pneumatic) rather than hydraulic, Mil-tek balers are extremely quiet. If you have an existing air-line you simply plug the machine and then your existing compressor acts as the engine. If you need to have a compressor installed, a Mil-tek technician will ensure that the compressor is placed at a distance from the machine and then install an air-hose between the compressor and the machine.

Perfect for your industry

RETAIL

RETAIL

Ideal for baling plastic packaging typically used in the transportation and protection of clothing and consumable items. Constant pressure ensures an extremely dense bale is produced that is both easy to handle and easy to recycle. The baler can also be used to recycle smaller volumes of cardboard in small/medium supermarkets, convenience stores and general retail outlets.

WHOLESALE / MANUFACTURING / INDUSTRY

WHOLESALE / MANUFACTURING / INDUSTRY

Despite its small footprint, the 2305 baler has a large door opening and a deep chamber, enabling whole boxes to be placed directly into the baler. Plastic packaging stored in plastic bag stands can be placed directly into the baler saving time and therefore cost when dealing with packaging waste.

LOGISTICS

LOGISTICS

The modern waste technique of segregating and baling packaging waste using strategically placed recycling points has resulted in a significant increase in productivity across a range of organisations. A Mil-tek 2305 baler accompanied by a small plastic baler (such as a model 2102 or 2205 baler), and strategically placed plastic bag stand can vastly improve logistics where a steady stream of packaging waste is created in multiple areas.
