Product Overview

The small-size GC100 is designed with the hospitality sector in mind. Busy bars, pubs and restaurants can install the GC100 directly under the counter, allowing them manage a steady flow of used bottles.

Crushing bottles at front of house allows staff to remain at their posts, dedicated to serving customers.

The GC100 crushes up to 100 bottles which are collected in a receptacle housed inside the unit. Once full, the receptacle case can be simply swapped out for another.

The glass crusher reduces bottles by up to 80% in size, and sound-proofing inside the machine eliminates the loud clinking made by collecting empty bottles in open containers.

See in use

Load

Feed bottles into the opening, neck first. The machine will automatically activate as you do.

Crush

Bottles can be continuously fed into the chamber where they are crushed by a rotating blade.

Empty

A weight sensor will indicate when the receptacle is full and needs to be emptied.

How it works

Loading

Loading

The Glass Crusher auto starts as bottles are loaded in. It will continue to run on a timer and will automatically stop.

Feed bottles into the opening, neck first.

Crushing

Crushing

The bottle slides down into a chamber where a rotating blade smashes the glass.

Once the glass has been broken into small pieces, it falls from the chamber.

Collecting

Collecting

Crushed glass (cullet) is collected below in a receptacle, housed inside the unit.

The receptacle sits on a weight sensor, which triggers when the box is full.

Emptying

Emptying

Open the door to remove the receptacle, close the lid and swap for a new one.

Full boxes weight approx 18kg, and can be stacked and stored.

Q&A

  • How noisy is the Glass Crusher?

Not at all. The chamber inside the Glass Crusher is insulated with noise-dampening padding, allowing the GC100 to run at just 68db(A).

This means the GC100 is unlikely to interrupt the naturally noise flow of a typical bar or restaurant.

In addition, crushing bottles eliminates the loud clinking noise made by collecting loose bottles in an open bin or container.

  • Is the GC100 safe for all staff to operate?

Yes it is.Simply feed bottles into the opening, neck first. The machine will automatically start and stop by inself. A sensor will indicate when the machine is full and needs to be emptied .

  • How does the GC100 crush bottles?

A rotating blade inside the chamber smashes the bottles into smaller pieces. Anything small enough falls into the lower receptacle, while large pieces remain and are broken down further.

  • How do I clean the GC100?

Easy: Fill a glass bottle with soapy water and pop it into the machine as normal. The soapy water will wash the chamber and blades, and the liquid and bottles will drain out into the receptacle below.
